The Festival of Trees is the Museum of Arts and Sciences' largest annual fundraiser that represents three generations of investment in the Museum’s educational programming. With generous support from our donors and volunteers throughout the festival activities, we can provide high-quality programming with affordable admission for families of Central Georgia.

The Gala

The Festival of Trees Gala is an annual black-tie event that offers delicious food, live entertainment, and a fine art sale. The essential donations from this event support MAS and allow us to continue to provide cultural and educational opportunities in Macon. The Festival of Trees Champagne Preview is hosted annually to kick off the Festival of Trees fundraising events. The Festival of Trees Gala will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 (7-11pm)!

The Champagne Preview

The Champagne Preview gives attendees the exclusive opportunity to be the first to view the Festival of Trees exhibition. Attendees are invited to get a first look at the White Glove Art Sale, featuring works from the MAS vault, shop for tasty delights at the Sugar Plum Shop, and see the latest fashion from local boutiques in a fashion show. The Festival of Trees Champagne Preview will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024 (noon-2PM)!

Best of Macon Raffle

The Best of Macon Raffle is an annual raffle that offers participants the unique opportunity to win gift certificates to local restaurants, boutiques, and spas, as well as tickets to sporting events and stays at hotels. The raffle drawing happens at the Festival of Trees Gala, but the winner does not have to be present to accept the basket.

Day Out with Santa Children's Event

The MAS hosts an annual themed children’s holiday event featuring photos with Santa and Holiday Crafts! Don't forget to bring your camera!!

Tree Exhibition

The Festival of Trees is an annual museum exhibition that features over 40 beautiful Christmas trees decorated by local and regional designers. The exhibit is on display from November to January and can be viewed with regular museum admission.
