Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is an annual museum exhibition that features over 40 beautiful Christmas trees decorated by local and regional designers. The exhibit is on display from November to January and can be viewed with regular museum admission. Festival of Trees represents three generations of investment in the Museum’s educational programming. With generous support from our donors and volunteers throughout the festival activities, we can provide high-quality programming with affordable admission for families of Central Georgia.

The Festival of Trees Gala is an annual black-tie event that offers delicious food, live entertainment, and a silent art auction. The essential donations from this event support MAS and allow us to continue to provide cultural and educational opportunities in Macon.

The Festival of Trees Luncheon is hosted annually to kick off the Festival of Trees fundraising events. The luncheon gives attendees the exclusive opportunity to be the first to view the Festival of Trees exhibition. Attendees are served a delicious lunch and see a private fashion show.

The Macon Millionaire Raffle is an annual raffle that offers participants the unique opportunity to win gift certificates to local restaurants, boutiques, and spas, as well as tickets to sporting events and stays at hotels. The raffle drawing happens at the Festival of Trees Gala, but the winner does not have to be present to accept the basket.

The MAS hosts an annual themed children’s holiday event featuring a holiday movie, snacks and a scavenger hunt along with regular museum programming. The children’s event marks also features Santa’s Secret Shop, giving kids the opportunity to purchase great Christmas presents for family members.
