The Museum will be open all day in preparation for the Great American Solar Eclipse. We will be offering games, hands-on activities, telescope viewing (with the safety of solar filters), NASA’s live streaming view of the eclipse in the Mark Smith Planetarium and more related to the solar eclipse.

Don’t forget to bring your safe solar eclipse glasses (we have sold out) and join us outside at 1 pm for a safe viewing of the eclipse. It will be at 96% totality! Don’t worry if it’s cloudy, there will still be exciting things to see, explore and learn about this once-in-a-lifetime event!
