Celebrating 1,000 years of the vessel, from utilitarian bowls, crocks, churns, chamber pots, and storage jars to more decorative face jugs and folk pottery of the American South. A wide selection of firing processes and glazing techniques will be explored through ceramic vessels representing various cultures and time periods from Pre-Columbian and Ming Dynasty periods to contemporary pottery of the Southeastern region.
