Fuji by Studio Lemercier in partnership with Wonderspaces opened today! Fuji is a 14 minute audiovisual installation which is part of Lemercier’s volcano series. It combines a large-scale, hand drawn landscape depiction of Fujiyama, augmented by a layer of projected light. Joanie Lemercier climbed Fujiyama before creating this project, describing the mountain as: “…an intangible monument to the glory of nature.”

Through her ever-expanding Vulnerable & Vanishing Trees series, the artist highlights the loss of tree species as a result of climate collapse. 💫Our Human Gyroscope will be open, and is free to ride. Remember to wear tennis shoes if you’d like to ride it!
💫All areas of the museum will be open, excluding the Mini-Zoo!
💫If you have telescope questions or need assistance setting yours up, feel free to bring it along!
