Create a Philanthropic Legacy That Sustains and Strengthens The Museum

Jack_and_Laura_RogersMembers of the prestigious Emily Bailey Walker Legacy Society recognize the importance of ensuring the continuation of their financial support for the Museum of Arts and Sciences through a planned or deferred gift.

Designating the Museum as a beneficiary of an estate, IRA, or life insurance policy is one of the easiest ways to create a philanthropic legacy designed to benefit arts, education, and wildlife conservation. Throughout the Museum’s history, bequests have provided valuable financial support for capital improvements, facility maintenance, collections, and educational programming.

The purpose of planned giving is twofold—to benefit your family’s future while also leaving a legacy to the Museum. Our staff will work with you and your financial advisors to satisfy your charitable interests while keeping in mind your family’s financial future. Deferred gifts at certain levels may be used to establish named endowed support funds that are restricted to benefit a specific collection or provide funding for lectureship programs, scholarships, or internships

All donors who include the Museum in their estate plans are eligible for membership in the Emily Bailey Walker Legacy Society.
